brave bennett + his new big ear!

On April 6th, 2026 Bennett spent 14 long hours in the operating room. He came out with a brand new big ear!!!

Dr. Lewin poured her heart and soul into this beautiful ear and we are thrilled with results. I am so proud of our brave and resilient Bennett. He spent the first two days in bed watching Harry Potter and by day three was back to himself and requesting ice cream! I am amazed by him :) We are forever grateful for Dr. Lewin and her entire team!

Couldn't imagine going through this life changing experience with anyone else!

In September he will have a second surgery to shape the earlobe, place his Osia hearing aid and make any final adjustments.

For now we focus on healing! • He is a total champ for his ear cleanings and ointment applications twice daily. No running, jumping, climbing, karate or swimming for 6+ weeks will be tough but necessary for the best outcome.
